Located forty miles north of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, on the edge of Ducks Unlimited's "jewel of the north" Oak Hammock Marsh - playing host to some 1.4 million geese in the height of the season (approximately September 15 to October 20).

Amenities include a fully modern lodge with full facilities, incredible meals and a great place to relax after an exciting day of hunting. We specialize in three day field hunts over magnum decoys in Canadian grain fields, full blinds and cover in a dry setting. This is a hands on operation that provides the very best in Canada Goose hunting. We provide all transportation, meals, guides, blinds, decoys, preparation and processing of birds for take home, and the land owner's permission to hunt.
This is a great opportunity for a father/son hunt or business incentive for your staff, and offers a great place to share some camaraderie with your hunting buddies. We will provide you the opportunity to take a fair shot at the birds - but the shooting is up to you!
We have worked with many hunting clubs and organizations throughout the U.S. and Canada, offering their members something different and unique. Easy flight connection to Winnipeg International Airport. The strength of the U.S. dollar in Canada makes the hunting further affordable.

Meals - in the morning we usually provide coffee, juice, etc. and donuts or muffins before the hunt.
After the hunt, we take you for breakfast at one of the local establishments. On our return to the lodge, we process birds, you rest, snacks will be provided. Get ready to hunt, fish etc.
Supper is served at 7:00 p.m.

Duck Hunters:
We will arrange for 8:00 P.M. supper on the morning of the hunt. If you are past 8:00 P.M. (8:20 won't cut it), stop at a local restaurant for supper - (our cook does have a life outside the lodge). No exceptions, No left overs, Not negotiable.

Our duck hunting is not always as consistent as we would like it to be, but there are times when it is quite good and we are happy to provide the option. If there are no ducks on the days you are here, we will advise you and we won't take you hunting ducks. SNOW GOOSE HUNTING
These also come into the decoys in the morning and you are welcome to shoot them. However, we are not set up to hunt Snow Geese with 100's of decoys. If there is a field of birds, and we have permission, we will attempt to hunt them.

DUCKS

Ducks will be processed the next morning
It is illegal in Manitoba to shoot a bird and not retrieve it. Guides will advise
Anyone shooting the first "Suzie" female Mallard buys breakfast that day or next morning. No exceptions, govern yourself accordingly. If you don't know ... don't shoot.
Guides fee for duck hunting to be negotiated and will very depending on group size.
Anyone wishing to hunt big marsh (Netley) arrangements will be made at a cost of $125.00 US per day per gun.

GRATUITIES
Many people ask what is a fair gratuity. Gratuities should be given if you feel you received good service, and were well looked after. Remember guides are up at 5:00 A.M. and work untill 8:00 P.M. in the evening. That's 15 hours per day ... give them what you feel is fair.

PROCESS BIRDS
Canadian law requires that a wing be left on the bird for transportation. To process, we breast all birds, two to a bag and freeze them. If you don't have a cooler, we will purchase a "tupperware" type, for about $12.00 for transportation of your birds for your return home.

AMMUNITION and SUPPLIES
SIR, Canadian Tire, Walmart all sell ammunition, fishing supplies, waders, etc. If you need this equipment, we can transport you there.

FISHING - Cats on the red 204-757-9876
Cats on the Red is only 5 minutes away and provides a great afternoon of green back Walleyes, drum and big catfish. It is not uncommon for Walleye to weigh 8-12 lbs. ... and Cats up to 40 lbs. Mostly jigging in the river 10-23 ft. deep ... limit 4 per day.

Boat rental - $75.00 for 4 hours, $125.00 for 8 hours
Conservation license - non resident - $30.00
